Clarinet Choir Repertoire Wanted

The Thameside Clarinet Choir (in the London suburbs) meets throughout
the year. Its members are amateur players, (no music students, etc.) so
it tends to be a group of mixed ability. It has 300 works, (some of it
home-grown), in its library and a bank balance to match.

We have already commissioned several works from local composers. It is
not proposed to commission further works at this stage. New music is
always welcome, so I given the next to impossible task once again of
investigating further repertoire in print and in manuscript copies with
a view to future purchases, exchanges or acquisitions.

Suggestions and lists of the most memorable works that list members have
played would be most welcome, together with contact names and addresses;
to the list or to me direct.

P.S. One suggestion is that we should investigate the Bellison
Collection in Jerusalem. I already have a copy of the catalogue.
Some of his arrangements were played in London by the 'Colorado Clarinet
Choir' in 1984.
Many thanks,
Michael Bryant
