Klarinet Archive - Posting 000699.txt from 1997/11

I'm going to start a short biographical project on a
clarinet teacher/performer of my choice. I'm thinking
along the lines of Drucker, Wright, or Mazzeo, and would
welcome information regarding available monographs on
such a person. Does anybody have recommendations for
a subject who already has abundant material published
on his/her life and work and importance? Is there a
book out on Hasty, or Leister? Marcellus is "taken",
so I can't use him, unfortunately.
'Looking forward to your replies.
Thanks,
Neil
