We played an arrangement of "March to the Scaffold" from the Symphony
Fantastique in concert band when I was a senior in high school. However,
I was playing tuba that year. It was quite fun. I don't recall the
publisher, though.

The year before, we played a concert band arrangement of Scherezade, done
by one of the students a few years before I got to high school. That was
a realy neat arrangement, and I was the only bass clarinet. In this
arrangement I basically had the cello part, and there were these killer
length tied bass drone notes. I quickly became adept at holding my
breath for a long time. Too bad I didn't know how to circular breath then.
Everytime I hear Scherezade now, I think back on playing those drone notes
with fondness. :-)
