No quite the contrary. I stated what I did because I simply don't like the
concert band medium. I've heard many of the world's finest wind ensembles and
I've even played in a few of them, but to tell you the truth.... I just don't
like them. I've played all of the works that you mentioned above and still....
I don't like them. Is it wrong for someone not to like something? I venture
to say that most people wouldn't like some of the Xenakis works that I play,
but that's their opinion and you know what..... it's fine with me. Different
strokes for different folks here people.
