My opinion is only based on my own experiences and what some of my
colleagues have told me they do.....but, regarding the matched clarinets
idea......I try to stick with one brand....either all Selmer, all Buffet,
or all Leblanc. Key style alone is unusal enough between the instruments
to warrant a same brand. Beyond that, the A and Bb need to be the same
brand because of similarity in intonation and the tone quality itself. A
Selmer 10G has a much different tone quality than a Buffet R-13...to
change between Bb and A within one work alone with those differing
qualities would see a bit of a shock.

I don't know much about the Patricola......there are others perhaps who
might comment?
