Re: smelly bass clarinet
Try putting some kitty litter in the case with your smelly bass clarinet.
In a few days it will absorb the odor. (Also works for smelly old cases).
Also, there was a question recently recently about low c bass clarinets and
small hands. I have fairly small hands and play a Yamaha low C bass with
no problems.
