I was told today by Robert Cronin, a shawm maker in California, that the
Galpin Society Journal had an article "more than 10 years ago" which
gave detailed bore dimensions for three original oboes d'amore, a
Denner, a Poerschmann, and a ?. I do not have reliable access to that
journal and my public library has crapped out more than once when I have
asked for Galpin Society reprints on ILL. Would anyone have this
article in their library and allow me to ask a question or two?

My interest is in the relationship of the bore at the bottom of the
lower joint to that of the upper portion of the bell in original oboes
d'amore.
