While it may be simple to understand, it is also not much fun taking the
bad habits and fixing them....which I have been doing forever.

Bad habits occur when students take too little mouthpiece, use a wee, tiny
bit of air to power the thin piece of an excuse for a reed on the
mouthpiece, and start to do just awful things with the embouchure to get
into the upper register....which they are forced into too soon. 1.5 and 1
reeds are simply a waste of time.......

While many may disagree........I can't be moved from this position....too
many beginners who have succeeded.
