I was wondering if anyone had any insightful information about Berlioz
"Symphonie Fantastique" in relation to the role clarinet plays in the
piece.
Thanks.....

Sally I just heard it today and I have to say without the clarinet the
whloe thing wouldn't have sounded right. Like at the end of the fourth
movment only the clarinet could have played that solo. So yes the
clarinet is very important to the piece.
