I used to own a very nice Selmer Model 33.....I won my first audition on
it. My Buffet Prestige is a much nicer horn in terms of tone, size of
tone, projection, and intonation. Strangely, when I bought my first
Buffet Prestige (five years ago), it cost $1000 less than the Selmer also!
It is still a bit less expensive....and I bought my most recent one after
trying 15 of them...back to back. I also tried the new Selmer Model 37,
but found it to be less of a clarinet than the Buffet.
