There are (at far as I know) four modells of Buffet which are on the
same price level (here in Germany around $3000, for Bb):

R-13 Prestige, RC Prestige, Festival, DG.

They all share the "Prestige features": Unstained wood, Gore Tex pads,
silver keys, auxiliary Eb lever, metal caps on tenons, adjustable
thumb rest, ... The RC Prestige and Festival are also in the
"Greenline".

Here in Germany the R-13 and the R-13 Prestige are not available. But
the other 3 modells are. The german price list says about the
Festival: "modified R-13 Prestige bore", that's all. But what means
"modified" concretely? Which sound color is intended by this
modification?

The WWW-page of BC says: "Enjoyed by classical and jazz players alike,
the Buffet Festival clarinet is an exceptional professional
instrument. An offspring of the R-13 family of clarinets..." This
suggests that the Festival is intended (also) for the Jazz direction?
Someone wrote there is also a "Jazz Festival"?

And there seems to be absolutely no information about the DG. Is it
available in the US? The catalogue (I have) gives no information about
the different bores of the different modells. The Buffet marketing
strategy is really confusing (the same holds for LeBlanc).
