I have to agree that every note does require a silghtly different embouchure.
My teacher and I have just finnished working through an exercies she calls the
beginnings. This teaches you where each note of the clarinet is on the reed...
the best place for you bottom lip to be when you want to play the note. Whit
With each note the possition was slightly different from the position for the
note before. Practicing long tones helps you find the notes. The difference in
the embouchure is very slight. With clarinet a fraction of the smallest degree
of measure makes a huge difference. Never pinch the notes out. Half the
pressure twice the speed of air.
