You see, they have gotten to you. You are supposed to be PROUD of it, but
the less fortunate have managed to turn your great asset into a liability
(because they are jealous).

Exactly wrong! Language is language, and must be taught correctly or we
will lose it. Look how many of your friends can't read or spell correctly.
And in these days of computers, where absolute accuracy is vital (try
using a search engine on an incorrectly spelled entry, for example) you
must be able to spell. Poor language skills brand you as ignorant,
regardless of how intelligent you may actually be.

This, however, is exactly CORRECT!

Politicians are the best LIARS, or musically, LYRES. Maybe a little
phonics training is needed? :-)
