Chris,
I did a bit of research before shelling out quite a few bucks
for my son's clarinet. You're comments aren't quite up to snuff
here.

The Festival is mechanically identical to the Prestige. The bore
sizes are different. That's it. No step "up" or "down". Equivalent
in the mechanical & manufacturing sense.
