Ouch! I did fix the problem. I tried many different ways, but the one that
worked was just to play with her. She was not keeping her muscles firm
enough to play the pitch I wanted unitl she heard me play and matched my
sound. We(the student and I) have worked on this for a week and now she
seems to be "fixed". Now all my beginner clarinets sound like me. That is
what I always shoot for and achieve. I just don't understand why one out of
12-20 students doesn't get the right tone unless I play along whith them.
That's all.
On the bad teacher note. HAVE YOU SEEN WHAT WE HAVE TO TEACH??!! And the
conditions we have to work under?
