As an addendum to Daniel's message, several records featuring Eduard Brunner=
have been released recently on the ECM label (german firm headed by Manfred=
Eicher and centering mostly on jazz and contemporary music).=20

These records present thus mostly modern works. The first one is centered on=
Gy=F6rgy Kurt=E1g and Robert Schumann, and Brunner plays with Kim=
Kashkashian (viola) and Robert Levin (piano).=20

The second one features music by georgian composer Giya Kancheli (midday=
prayers, evening prayers, caris mere), interpreted by Eduard Brunner,=
Maacha Deubner (soprano), Kim Kashkashian (viola), Jan Garbarek (soprano=
saxophone) and the Stuttgarter Kammerorchester under Dennis Russell Davies.

=46inally, Brunner has recorded a CD of works for solo clarinet; his=
technique is impressive and he takes part of the resonance of the recording=
hall to great effect. No easy listening, though... (program includes works=
by Isang Yun, Igor Stravinsky, Pierre Boulez, Karlheinz Stockhausen,=
Giacinto Scelsi and Helmut Lachenmann).=20
