If you are going to own only one clarinet ensemble CD, I would recommend
the Thurston Clarinet Quartet's Clarinet Carnival. (ASV Digital CD WHL
2095) It has a good variety of music on it from Mozart and Arrieu to Porter
and Gershwin.

A clarinet and piano CD that a younger student might enjoy is Jonathan
Cohler's Moonflowers, Baby! Also a good variety of works. Crystal Records
CD733.
