Last time I heard Mr. Shifrin, he was still using a Pyne mouthpiece. I
understand he dabbled with the Kanter (notice spelling) for awhile, but
James Kanter is no longer making mouthpieces....thus, many people choose
different makers for their custom work. I would be interested in knowing
if David has switched mouthpieces.

I have a Kanter Bass Clarinet mouthpiece which I no longer use, but, when
I purchased it in 1983, it cost $200 then....now that they are no longer
available, I am not certain I want to sell it for that price. I have a Bb
Kasper....Ann Arbor that I no longer use as well....same problem.
