I am currently on my second Buffet Prestige Bass Clarinet, the first being
one model removed (the one without the RH low D.....dumb mistake there).
I haven't had any problems with the register key regulation....or it going
out of adjustment. Lawrie Bloom plays on the same model in the CSO and
really loves the horn.....he has never mentioned that problem to
me....but....maybe he does not want to say anything! There is a new model
of the Prestige coming out as we type......it may have a slightly
different mechanism.....but I am not sure. What exactly goes wrong with
your register key?
