To those in the Los Angeles area:

The La Mirada Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Leon Guide, will give its
opening concert of the 1997-98 Season this Saturday, October 25, at the
La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, corner Rosecrans and La
Mirada Blvd. The concert starts at 8 pm, and admission is free. The
program will be:

Overture to "Rienzi" Wagner
Concerto No. 2 Saint-Saens
Ronald Leonard - cello
"The Planets" Holst
