Play as many octaves well as you can. Sometimes the upper ones getting
yucky, esp. the third octave of C Major. Octaves always help, and
whether it's neccesary or not, I would always say that more is better,
just make sure that you can play it, and try to keep the tempo up. 2
octaves fabulously beats 3 octaves poorly, but if you can do the 3 well
by all means do it!!
