Subj: Altissimo flutter tongue

You got it. From high A on down. The piece is Bright Sheng's Hun for
orchestra, and it contains extended passages of held altissimo
flutter-tongued notes (with grace notes too, of course).

I've always flutter-tongued with the back of my tongue as I've found it
faster to initiate and I can get much more volume and "ugliness" when needed.
I have to admit that I just got the part and have not experimented with
these high notes yet, but in the meantime I am curious to know who's great at
it and what you do to make it great. (Now remember, it's only these
altissimo notes that I'm concerned about, not how amazingly you can flutter a
middle C... Not that that's not a good thing, of course. :)
