The problem with A and the Third Trill key is that it is flat and
hard to get to. Some possible combinations you might not have tried - to
be used in conjunction with the regular fingerings:

Again, like with bass clarinet, this note must be voiced in the back of
the throat (with the back of the tongue).......and slow air (warm air) is
an important key in helping the note center.
