I thought this list was for topics of interest to clarinetists! I
know you were just using sax and flute topics as an example , but many
(most?) clarinetists need to double on those instruments! While I agree
there is a limit to how deeply we would delve into these
"extraclarinetarian" topics (for instance, I would not expect us to discuss
flute or sax concerti!), I feel that some discussion is relevant to
clarinetists.
As far as humour is concened (guilty! guilty! guilty! ), I welcome
it as long as it is appropriate to the list and doesn't become
overwhelming!
