Well, I seem to be too. I have always been more comfortable playing
sharp. But it doesn't seem to be my equipment. My teacher played my
complete set up different times, and was never as sharp as I am. I hope
someone has some insight into this.

I have completed my Masters degree in Clarinet Performance, and still
don't have a good answer. I pull some at the barrel, middle, and
sometimes the bell. Your right, you have to be careful about flatness in
the low range. I have planned numerous times to purchase a longer bell,
but have never done it. Oh--I have been complimented on my intonation,
so it is possible to compensate, it just isn't always fun!

Anyone?
