HI> I am a clarinet major at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I
have read many of the letters on klarinet, but this is the first one
that I have written.
My question:
I have discovered an old C clarinet. It is a 15 key instrument, and
uses the Albert fingering system. As far as condition goes, well, it
works. I was wondering if it is worth anything? i.e. Would it be worth
cleaning up? It was made in France. No serial numbers that I can find.
Also on the bell there is a faint etch of the Arch de Triumph as well
as the word Paris. (So I assume it was made in Paris, France:)
Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks!
