Subj: RE: musicianship at Juilliard (Further with Brahms and Dan)

I went to Juilliard, and I found that the students there were very interested
in developing musianship. Further, one could state that being musical - and
true to the composer's intentions - requires enough technique to play the
notes. In cafeteria conversations, we talked about technique, but more often
the conversation centered on interpretation. This is true of musicians on
all instruments.
