A quick web search turned up the fact that the Erawan Hotel is now the
Grand Hyatt Erawan. It appears to be completely new and different from
anything I remeber from my last visit to Bangkok in 1975. I believe that
Erawan is the god with three elephant heads.

Isn't "Erawan" merely a modified version of "Erehwon", ie, "Nowhere"
spelt backwards?
