Thanks Gary. I tried that experiment for the 3rd line B natural on my
daughter's clarinet and it too is the effect of the compromises on the register
key. It is not noticeable on my Leblanc Symphonie II though. However the
"price" I pay is in the throat Bb with the standard chromatic fingering.
