The government is a big group to talk about, however, maybe they could
distribute alot more money to the schools then they normally do.They are
not always the ones to blame. The money eventually does go to the school
administration of that district.
What really happened was that the school in my neighborhood,(which will
remain nameless), closed down because of a lack of funding, and it had to
close one school. They wanted to fund more money to a school in a poorer
neighborhood, to see if it will get better. That's all they will say.
Considering it had a good music program, on the rise the school was in
good shape. Alot of students and parents coming from there were
enthusiastic about the teaching. Frustrating! A lack of wholehearted
teachers could contribute to this problem too, but that was not in this
case. If there are problems I wish they would find other ways to solve
them, rather than interrupt the children's education. Wonder why it is
hard to find a music ed job and the education system is messed up!
Sorry so long and not clarinet related.
