that on their own instrument, whatever that might be. And since Mozart's=
works are way beyond copyright restrictions, there's no *ethico-legal* =
problem with that, whatever musicians may feel about there being an aesth=
etic problem. After all, if the original isn't destroyed (and thus can =
always be used by purists), where's the problem? Or must we insist that =
everyone plays it exactly as was originally intended? Wasn't there a dis=
cussion a few months back on ornamentation of Mozart's era that basically=
concluded that we can't know for sure exactly how it *was* played?
