Something to get off my chest! BTW,hello. I am very frustrated on how
the government, does not fund any money to the music, arts programs and
more generally public schools. Just the other day, a neighborhood
school closing down. Schools close down, left and right and most of
the schools that close down, are not bad schools and close because the
lack of funding from the government. Even the ones messed up could be
fixed up with a little help from the government. When schools close down,
kids usually
turn to the streets, if other schools cannot take them because they
become packed. Valuable teachers get fired! The government needs to set
their priorities straight.
In schools, music and arts programs usually get dropped first. Two
areas that usually get the interest of children the most, but are closed
down
first because of the government. The school that closed had a good music
and arts program, but now is closing down. No more making music, no more
nothing! This may not be clarinet related, but something to get off my
chest! Frustrating for to be music teachers! What can we do?
