There are lots of good tunes, suitable for this purpose, in Pamela Weston's
collection "17 Classical Solos" (pub. Fentone). I also love playing the
Bach cello suites on bass clarinet or basset horn (untransposed to take
advantage of the range to low C). And there's a book called "15 Etudes" -
Bach movements (mostly from violin partitas I think) adapted by Delecluse,
pub. Leduc.
