By successful, I mean a version that takes account of the capabilities and
limitations of the instrument for which it is arranged and presents both the
instrument and the work in a favorable light.
Successful doesn't necessarily mean pleasing to everyone who compares it to
the original. It wouldn't be "like the original" but that doesn't mean the
arrangement couldn't work.
