I do, Bill!

My grandfather had a method for dismembering - I mean disassembling - a
fly rod that wouldn't come apart: hold it behind your slightly bended
knees, with your wrists up against your knees and thighs, and firmly but
steadily spread your knees apart. It came apart in a straight line and
never went crashing off across the room or smashing into something close
by, and allowed a bit of twisting in the process if that was necessary.
Might work for stuck clarinet joints too.
