I do not know about breaking it in two, but that is probably a joke. The
case could be you might have too much cork between the joints, and the
wood could be swollen. Ususally this is the case, because it has
happened to me before. Any case take it to a trustworthy repairman
who knows the instrument real well and have him check it out. Swell!:)
