Get it to a repairman pronto. The store where you bought the clarinet
should be able to provide service under your guarantee. The wood on the
tenon may be swollen and binding inside the socket. It happens a lot with
new instruments bought during the warm months. Grease won't solve that
problem, and the danger is that you'll bend a lot of keywork trying to pull
the joints apart.
