Just recently Charles Fail Music in Marietta, Georgia listed a Selmer
rosewood contra alto for sale, fully restored, for $2,500. Other used horns
I've seen advertised on the Internet have been priced up to twice that
amount. I think Clark Fobes eventually purchased the instrument from Fail
but, of course, the final agreed upon price is between them. However, if you
DON'T buy the horn, please let me know ASAP!
