Yes it's true that he passed away however the company will continue to
manufacture all of the same products as his son actually does most of the work.
This comes from Muncy Winds and I take that to be a reliable source of
information. They know the Harrison's personally. Just thought all would like
to know.

I also play on a Harrison and I don't find the inconsistencies that were
mentioned. I find them to be very similar to the Bonade inverted ligatures but
with a bit more freedom. The materials used are superb and I myself DO notice
a difference (however miniscule) between the gold and the silver. I prefer the
gold myself.

There's my $.02 for what it's worth.
