My pianist, Ririko Hayashi, absolutely loved playing Victor Babin's
Hillandale Waltzes....and it has a showpiece flavor in at least three of
the eight movements.

Of course, the Grand Duo Concertante is great.....but overused.....Poulenc
is a definite Showpiece...

There are many others on the list of great works.....but technical
showpieces often have boom-chuck parts for accomp.....others on the list
will, undoubtedly, find some great things to suggest!
