In October '94 I saw clarinets as you describe them in a music store in
Germany. They were Boehm system, but I didn't look to see the brand.

A separate thought about that visit - Most of the clarinets I saw in music
stores in Germany were Boehm system and only a small number were Oehler
types. It seems pretty clear, however, that well-known German players,
whether soloists or orchestral players, use Oehler.

Are the non-classical players in Germany using Boehm?

Is the younger generation of German classical players still studying on
Oehler?
