I'm playing Bizet Sym in C next week, and I'm Damn glad that I'm left
handed (last mvt. opening played on Bb clarinet is real, real tricky, wish
I had a C clarinet). Maybe the question should have been rephrased to a
"Right Handed Clarinet".

Subject: Re: left-handed clarinet
In my opinion, the traditional clarinet is already left handed, especially
when you consider the special demands of throat G#, A and Bb. In addition, I
believe an unusually high number of major symphony players are left-handed
and it may be because being left handed gives a player a slight edge.
