Gene I use a Pyne mouthpiece created by James Pyne at Ohio State Univ. He
has several models. The one I use is a the JK signature model. It gives
great resistence and sound. The ligature that I use and always have used
is a Bonade. This ligature is recommened by many because it helps the reed
to vibrate, producing an excellent sound. I like grand concert reeds and
vandoren reeds. However, I have had great success in making my own reeds.
