I was very happy with the brand new Bundy I had issued to me to march with
in 1971, replacing an older Vito. The Evettes (Buffet) are highly
regarded, and probably the best of the plastics, short of the Greenlines.
Yamahas are good, too, but their case is tiny. Note that the Bundy name is
being dropped in favor of Selmer USA. Just avoid off-brands and Chinese
junk. And use a good mouthpiece. Even my old metal clarinet sounds pretty
good with a B-45 stuck on it.

If you have to mic a saxophone, the rest of the band is too loud.
