I have not seen any wooden Artley clarinets, the grain looks deceptively like
wood, however. The Artley is the only brand we caution the beginning
students in our area not to purchase and they are very out of tune in the
upper register, and difficult to tune with the other clarinets. We often
say, "Artleys drop out here."
