The Eb clarinet, played well....is a terrific instrument! Clarinet choirs
would be lost without them....although Ab soparino is taking it a step too
far! some of the best band works with Eb clarinet: Holst Suites, Gordon
Jacob Original Suite, Holst Hammersmith, Persichetti Symphony No. 6,
Dahl Sinfonietta, Grainger Lincolnshire Posy (and other Grainger
works).....
