Like Virginia said, I've noticed a great improvement in my Bb playing
since I took up Eb Clarinet. It's really helped me with dexeterity,
because I have huge hands, and having to adapt to Eb was quite a
process. Then, whenver I go back to Bb it it so much more comfortable!
Plus, I have learned the importance of curved fingers. If I don't curve
them then I end up hitting about three different keys with my pinky (on
Eb).

Quote(s) of the Day:

"Inspiration may be a form of superconciousness,
or perhaps of subconciousness--I wouldn't know.
But I am sure it is the antithesis of
self-conciousness." -Aaron Copland

"Ineffective people live day after day with unused potential. They
experience synergy only in small, peripheral ways in their
lives. But creative experiences can be produced regularly,
consistently, almost daily in people's lives. It requires
enormous personal security and openness and
a spirit of adventure."
-Stephen R. Covey
