Lori Lovato asks about bass clarinet stands and the Walton Facade.

The Harrison-Hurtz stand I use at IC is lovely, sturdy, but very impractical
for travel as it is large and doesn't break down. My next stand would be the
Konig & Mayer bass clarinet/bassoon stand - sturdy, collapsible, $95.

As for Facade - it does have some ugly changes, doesn't it. Each time I've
played it, I actually hung the bass from a neck strap while I played a short
soprano clarinet part before longer rest that allowed a more secure change.
This was in the Sailor movement (Barnacle Bill?), I beleive. Have fun, it's
a great piece! MG
