Our band uses these horrible posture chairs, which, while they force you
to sit-up, are terribly uncomfortable after three hours of practice.
I'm not sure who makes them, but I would suggest not buying any type of
these chairs. It is better to let students be comfortable and happy,
than fidgety and grumpy because the can't feel their rear end. This
isn't to say they can slouch, but to buy a chair so they WON'T doesn't
actually do all that much good, and in some cases adds to the problem!

Quote(s) of the Day:

"Inspiration may be a form of superconciousness,
or perhaps of subconciousness--I wouldn't know.
But I am sure it is the antithesis of
self-conciousness." -Aaron Copland

"Ineffective people live day after day with unused potential. They
experience synergy only in small, peripheral ways in their
lives. But creative experiences can be produced regularly,
consistently, almost daily in people's lives. It requires
enormous personal security and openness and
a spirit of adventure."
-Stephen R. Covey
