An opinion is a great deal of what we have experienced in our own
lives. From birth, we are raised under a certain environment and grow
up gaining a set of beliefs. These beliefs are the basis for our
opinions on various subjects. However, if we want to convince anyone
that our opinions are correct, we had better be able to back them up
with solid evidence. Therefore, to classify an opinion, I would have to
conclude it would be a combination of both the two previous threads.
Our opinions are inseparable from our beliefs and values, but the must
be based on positive knowledge to actually hold up against the opinions
of others.

Quote(s) of the Day:

"Inspiration may be a form of superconciousness,
or perhaps of subconciousness--I wouldn't know.
But I am sure it is the antithesis of
self-conciousness." -Aaron Copland

"Ineffective people live day after day with unused potential. They
experience synergy only in small, peripheral ways in their
lives. But creative experiences can be produced regularly,
consistently, almost daily in people's lives. It requires
enormous personal security and openness and
a spirit of adventure."
-Stephen R. Covey
